The general objective of the project is to conduct research into new techniques and mechanisms aimed at optimising energy consumption and enabling intelligent resource orchestration within the SILEME indoor positioning system, with a focus on achieving a scalable architecture and developing tag and beacon prototypes capable of operating in harsh environments.
In addition, the project seeks to conceptualise and develop additional intelligence layers within the positioning algorithm, expanding its capability to accurately determine and manage the location of multiple assets, optimising resource usage and enabling dynamic asset grouping based on operational requirements.
